Southern Utah University teamed with Peppershock Media to create a variety of awareness videos. They required promotional videos for their special programs and videos to showcase the campus and its lifestyle that stood out from the vast number of university campus tour videos available online. Using cutting-edge technology, Peppershock created video material designed to appeal to busy working professionals, addressing key pain areas such as limited time and money.
Southern Utah University’s “The Finish Line Scholarship” is a scholarship program aimed to enable potential students to return to school and complete their general bachelor’s degree without a big financial load.
To showcase the campus and its lifestyle, Peppershock produced a hybrid storyline using the latest technologies as the first campaign video.
Southern Utah University has a proud tradition of alumni success. To highlight this, in the second and third campaign videos, Peppershock focused on showcasing the various paths an SUU degree can bring. Our team flew down to St. George, Utah to interview and film Matt Hamlin, an SUU alum and President of Tonaquint Networks.
By letting Matt tell his story in his own words and focusing visually on his day-to-day operations at Tonaquint Networks, we demonstrate how an education at SUU can start your life and launch your career. A cinematic look was achieved by shooting in 4k resolution with our Sony FS5, and through tracking shots with a DJI Ronin and a slider dolly.
